The purpose of this tournament is not only to raise money to fight this horrible disease, but also to provide education about Alzheimer's, raise awareness about warning signs, and to provide support. |
| |
"The Lily" annual charity golf tournament was founded by
Deb Schlofman in 2001 when her mother, Lily, passed away after struggling
with Alzheimer's for 7 years. Prior to being afflicted with this horrible
disease, Lily had been a very active, athletic, and healthy woman.
After hosting the tournament for 9 years, we had raised over $150,000. |

Unfortunately Deb suddenly passed away in December, 2009 despite being an active, athletic, and healthy woman herself. We feel the best way to honor Deb's memory is to continue her legacy.
Therefore, "The Lily" will go on, with all proceeds benefiting the Alzheimer's Association and Alzheimer's Family Organization as they have in the past. |
