HISTORY
In January 2001, Lily Schlofman passed away after
7 years of struggling with Alzheimer's. Before this horrible disease
took over, Lily was a very active, athletic, and healthy woman. In
memory of her wonderful mom, Deb Schlofman created an annual charity
golf tournament, "The Lily", with all proceeds benefiting
The Alzheimer's Association.
PURPOSE
The purpose of the tournament is not only to raise
money to fight this horrible disease, but also to provide education
about Alzheimer's, raise awareness about warning signs, and to provide
support.
